Dan Morton is an illustrator and comic book artist who hails from Milwaukee Wisconsin. His professional work began in 1998 as a interior artist for Tomb Tales a horror and anthology series which featured covers done by the E.C. greats Johnny Craig, Al Williamson and John Severen. Ever appreciative of the pre-code era of comics, Dan continued to sharpen his skills and became a serious student of the game, naming Wally Wood, Frank Frazetta and Angelo Torres as his chief influences. In 2004 with friend and fellow artist Mike Hoffman writing stories, he launched his solo illustrated sci-fi comic Space 1958.
Dan continues to take on new projects mainly in the genres of horror, fantasy and science fiction. His ever growing list of commissions keeps him busy and allows him the freedom to work with a variety of mediums, primarily ink, oil and watercolor.
